Hi, I'm Tony Lewis.
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about me and my qualifications to mediate the most complex and challenging employment disputes with a true 360 degree perspective. I have an exceptional skill set built with over twenty-five years of world-class experience in employment law representing employees, employers, and employment practices liability insurers; advanced interdisciplinary training in various methods of negotiation and mediation; and a passion for achieving successful resolutions where all parties feel heard, respected, and confident in the decision to resolve their case. Scroll down to learn more.
Here is a summary of my background, training, education, and experience, and I welcome you to contact me if you would like any additional information:
-
Over 25 year of experience representing employees, employers, and employment practices liability insurers
-
Employer representation experience as (1) associate and senior counsel at an international law firm ranked in the top ten of Chambers USA for national labor and employment law defense firms at the time, and (2) partner in a California statewide labor and employment boutique defense firm

Employee representation experience as a sole proprietor in my own firm

Employment practices liability insurer representation experience in a private firm where I represented various domestic and London market underwriters and underwriting syndicates as claims counsel. At Northwestern Law, I successfully completed the Negotiations training course offered jointly with Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management and part of the law school's Clinical Trial Advocacy program. I am an alumnus of the Strauss Institute for Dispute Resolution--Pepperdine University's world renowned "Mediating the Litigated Case" mediator training program (2017). I have been admitted to practice law in Illinois (1999, inactive), Florida (2002), and California (2005). I have been admitted to practice in five different federal district courts. I have represented clients in thousands of employment matters spanning 22 states and four foreign countries.
